CALL FOR PROPOSALS
for the support for civil society organisations’ projects in Montenegro

Your project proposals, which should aim to contribute to the civil society participation in the implementation of anti-corruption policies and practices, shall be submitted no later than 15 November 2018, until 16h00.

In order to be eligible for a grant, Montenegrin CSOs must fulfil criteria as follows:

  • be a legal person;
  • be non-profit-making;
  • be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the project;
  • be registered as a CSO in Montenegro at least 12 months prior to the deadline for submission of project proposals;
  • have an annual budget higher than 10,000€, if one CSO is applicant. If there is one applicant and partner, their annual turnover for 2017 has to be cummulatively higher than 10,000€.

Let's put corruption into museum

For CSOs whose projects will be supported, the capacity building programme in the field of project management and project reporting; preparation and implementation of public campaigns and strenghtening of project activities visibility has been designed. In addition, capacities of selected organisations will be strenghtened in the field of watchdog and monitoring of the implementation of local anti-corruption policies and strategies, and which will consequently contribute to the more successful implementation of their projects. Also in order to provide additional support and ensure the quality and effectiveness of the project implementation, monitoring visits will be organised as well as continuous mentorship and certain technical equipment.

Complete applications (filled Application form,Budget Proposal and Logical Framework Matrix) along with the necessary accompanying technical documentation, shall be sent to e-mail address: info@cgo-cce.org, with subject – For the competition „Let’s put corruption into museum!” – and a hard copy version on address: Centre for Civic Education (CCE), Bulevar Svetog Petra Cetinjskog 96, III/6 81 000 Podgorica. If needed, further information can be obtained by sending the question to info@cgo-cce.org, no later than 5 November 2018, until 16h00.

Thanks to the support of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, CCE secured the funds for the support to small-scale projects in the total amount of 80,000€, whereas the maximum amount per approved project will be 10.000 EUR. Within this second round, it is planned to allocated 40,000€ for four projects.

Note: Organisations that are direct beneficiaries within IPA 2016 Civil Society Facilty (CSF, EuropeAid/153998/DD/ACT/ME), in the capacity of coordinators/lead applicants or partners, are not eligible to participate at this competition. Also, this limitation applies to CSOs that were subgrantees for more than two times within the same programme.

The CCE implements the project “Let’s put corruption into museum!” in cooperation with NGO Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI), NGO Bonum from Pljevlja, NGO UL-Info from Ulcinj and NGO Za Druga from Petrovac, with associates Ministry of Public Administration and Anti-corruption Agency, and with the financial support of the EU Delegation to Montenegro.
